I am taking b12, folic acid, vitamin c, and copper and my spots started to pigment but all of a sudden the vitamins stopped working. Has anyone else experienced this ? Where vitamins stopped repigmenting skin.

Pay attention to your diet and what you are using on your body. vitamins and supplements are great if your body needs them and is absorbing them properly. Otherwise it is just adding to toxicity IMO. Also any treatments you do like UVB or creams do add more burden to liver. Vitamins are one piece of the puzzle. Sometimes some of the treatments may actually bring about more spots. This disorder is no doubt complex but have faith. You should know your body best. For example If you are eating properly and drinking alcohol then simply taking vitamins Wont be effectivewon't do the trick.
Stop taking the witamin for a couple of weeks and then start again . Body gets used to supplements and the effect weakens . I experienced the very same thing .
Thanks! I'll take a break for maybe a month and pick back up with the vitamins. I was so excited when I started repigmenting and again and when white spots started back coming I was so confused on why the vitamins stopped working.
Taking only supplements doesn`t help for fully repigmentation , It is advised Adding the above supplements including vitamin D is if we are deficient to some of it...It may accelerate the repig if we are under any treatment.
Take blood test and add only what you are deficient for ...some say adding too much vitamin C may not be good for vitiligo..Try to reduce vitamin c and see it.
I am taking a recouleur pills now which had the vitamins listed above. I don't know of any food allergies. I'm going to try to eliminate gluten for a while to see if it helps with repigmenting. My stress level is about the same. My main stress is my vitiligo :)
can you give some details? how much re-pigmentation did you get? did all of your spots re-pigment? also how is your diet? is it possible you are allergic to some food or something? gluten or lactose are the 2 big ones. play deceptive and see what else has changed. how is your stress level?

what type of b12 are you taking ? sublingual, shots or pill form? sometimes the pills aren't absorbed properly. what type of copper are you taking?
