Has anyone had their vit start on their forehead/face and what was the progression if any? Mine started about a yr ago now on my forehead and I am concerned as to what the progression may be if any.

When vit started to spread on my face I didn't even realize it until I shaved my beard .My beard went completely gray so I thought I would shave it to look younger LOL! I grew that beard back pretty quick to hide the vit. Then my my eyes and now pretty much 80% of my face is covered. I've lived with my vit for the last 12 years.My vit progression comes in spurts,when it spreads it covers pretty quick.
Hi: We shared our story already before. Just to recap, my 8.5 daughter has the condition. It started 22 months ago. First on eyelid. Applied Protopic mon-fri and Apexicon on weekends for 6 months. 100% cured. Then, small spots (just one or two) both on knees and elbows. We used same Protpic, disappeared again. Now, got on ankle, big island. It has come down by 70%. Also, just noticed very small island on chest. We just began applying PROT. Dr. tells us that we are lucky that our daughter's body is responding to treatment. We STRONGLY believe that, vaccination induced the condition.
my daughter has vit on her forehead and eyes and legs, back, neck and stomach area's her face is the quickest area to responde to treatment and her doctor Prof Shaullreuter advised her not to put your hands to your face to much and do not lean on your palms (e.g. like when you rest your check or chin in your palm when thinking).....Donna
I'm not sure the exact time I started to get vit on the face, but it started off on my chin. Probably because I had to get 7 stitches there when I was about 5, because I fell real bad. Then it progressed to around my mouth, around both eyes and all of my forehead. I get vitiligo in all my high traffic areas of muscle groups, but everyone's works differently.
Hello Keigan, my Vitiligo started from my lip and then my forehead, it progressed like wild fire on my face that the Dermatologist were so surprised how it progressed as such in space of 6months.
I found out later that it was because of the issues I had then, I was highly emotionally distressed having broking up with a man i loved so much just 4months after my Vitiligo started. You cant really measure the progression of Vitiligo. I have seen several Vit on the face static for years.
I have a nickel size spot on my forehead. It has been 10 years and no progression. I also have alopecia. I have white hair in head,eyebow and lash only on left side
hmmm...mine started on my eyebrow bout 9 months ago, ive been on protopic so it hasnt gotten toooooo large, i am able to cover it up slightly with makeup, but friends tell me its not too noticeable......actually the ones on my face have been more stable than the ones on my hands and wrist........
thnx Cleo...so for u it started out on your eyebrow and then progressed over to your hands a wrist?? I am also on protopic and Xtrac treatments. I have gotten through six Xtrac's so far and have def seen a difference from when I started. I just don't want things to move backwards once I stop protopic and Xtrac.
