I would like to share my experience over here. In my family, my cousin sister was also suffering from vitiligo. She had tried many treatments but neither of them worked out. One day her neighbour suggested her to try homeopathy treatment. Before taking homeopathy we have our own perception that homeopathy cannot cure any disease. It is just a myth. But the fact is that homeopathy is a slow process but it cures the disease from its roots. We rather get our disease cured once it for all rather than taking medicine again and again. She visited homeopathy clinic that was nearby her house. After examining her doctor advised her to take homeopathy medicine regularly and not to worry about it. So she followed his advise and after taking medicine for 6-7 months she got cured from vitiligo. It is very important to take vitiligo treatment on time before it gets severe.
Preeti, do you live in India. I wanted to know if you are aware of any depigmentation options in India. I live in US and not sure if they have anything that they can prescribe for depigmentation.
Hi Minesh! I have read on a number of forums about taking supplements which could help in stabilizing your vitiligo and in some cases even induce re pigmentation. You can consult your doctor and introduce vitamin B12 and folic acid as supplements to begin with. All the best!

one of the doctor told me to take Azoran -50 mg daily till 6 months . is Azoran 15 mg is also steroid . plz help gyss . i am getting white .
Hi Minesh! You need to stop yourself from thinking about it all the time. From my experience, when I use make up to cover up the patches, I feel better about myself and thus feel less stressed. That is the first step towards stabilising your vitiligo. Whatever it takes. It is extremely stressful when you dont know how your vit is going to progress, but you need to figure out a way of not stressing out yourself too much. I am talking from experience! All the best and sending prayers your way :)
