  • Thanks Sarah :-) and Gemma :-) for your comments.

So, we "support" the immune system - without "boosting" it ?? :-) Imagine the consequences if we get the wording wrong ??!! :-) My sis has started taking this - for she is a vegetarian. I read the packaging and it says this BOOSTS the immune system. I was going to start on it too - but now I am not sure if I should :-(
    • lol! sorry, didn't mean to put you off! I've been eating loads of brazil nuts recently as they have selenium in them, but no change yet (except I really don't like the taste of brazil nuts!!!)
      • Hey Gemma :-) On the contrary, I am thankful that you pointed it out :-)

If you don't like Brasil nuts - look for something else with selenium here - http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient&dbid=95

These days I am also "testing" a 94% Aloe Vera gel on my spots. Let's see how it goes :-) I am also thinking of trying a vitamin E cream later on !!!!!
  • you can buy it it yucky green liquid form too!! it looks like a good health food, and should be good for vit because of all the B vitamins etc. but also be careful of taking something that boosts/stimulates your immune system. if vit is an autoimmune disorder, then you actually need to suppress the immune system to stop it destroying the melanocytes, right?
    • Yeah, something that can boost the immune system is a big NO NO. However, I heard there's a difference between an immune ' booster' and 'supporter' ...we vitiligans need immune 'supporters' , apparently....
I'm assuming it might be antioxidants like vit E, selenium etc etc.....
  • Hello:)

OMG, the tablet looks so big & yucky...then again, anything to get rid off vit lol
