I am curious to learn about what kind of research is in progress today ? Which companies are major players ?  Basically, what's in the pipeline ? 

 

It's so easy to find out in pharma world ?  Why is it so difficult to find out about Vitiligo ?

    Ok. last email tonight..lol...there are alot of other research articles and some are archived on this website mostly conducted by univerisities but this does show that research is being done for vit. I hope all this helps.

      Antuana, I read somewhere that Dr Spritz said the genetic study has been completed and they'll published their finding shortly:)

    I just checked my email and yes that is the same doctor who conducted the study I participated in. I may contact him to see what happened to my sample (lol) and if he has plans for any future research and anything else he has discovered.

    Here is a link about a study that was performed and it has been awhile and I believe I participated in this study. I had to answer questions and submit a saliva sample for this doctor at the University of Colorado.

    Dear Nathan unfortunately most of the major pharmaceutical companies are targeted to finding cures for cancer and HIV/AIDS and because Vitiligo does not cause any physical pain or results in death it's not as major when it comes to other Pharmaceuticals
