Questiosn regarding the application of protopic

I am about to start my protopic treatment on my face…but I have a few questions before I get started. 

 

1) When do I apply protopic?  I mean, before my daily moisturizer?  So as soon as I’m out of the shower, it would be the first thing I do? And then immediately afterwards I can proceed with my daily routine : moiturizer, eye cream,  makeup etc.

 

2) And how many times a day do I apply it? I can’t remember what my derm told me.  

 

3) I‘m very fair skinned so I have a difficult time telling where my vitiligo spots are exactly.  I kind of see them but I will not be able to apply protopic very precisely.  Does it matter if I get protopic on areas of my skin that is not affected?

    Oh most people apply twice a day. I do it right after shower in the morning then right before bed.

      What if I'm really short for time in the morning and I don't wait 15-30 minutes then wipe it off? I mean, could I just
      Immediately apply my moisturizer afterwards?

        Hmmm. Not sure. 
        Since I don't use makeup, I can't really say. 
        All I have to do is shave, brush my teeth, put some product in my hair, then get dressed. 

        Can you put your makeup on after you've gotten to work or other destination?
        You may have to try and get creative with your routine.

    Put it on first thing after you dry off. Then wait 15min to half an hour for the medicine to "soak" in. Then you ca wash it off and layer on your daily routine. You don't need to be too precise applying it. Just make sure you are hitting all the vit spots. If you get it on non-vit skin, it won't hurt it.
