Do they just appear in large form, or do they start small and grow rapidly?
I feel really bad, I didn't notice my daughter's spot until it was quite large. And everything I read online says they start small and then grow. She has multiple other spots that I've noticed smaller. But the first one didn't really catch my attention until it was large...
But it still baffles me how I never noticed it before then. I mean I wasn't getting a lot of sleep considering she was a newborn... but it makes me wonder if they can appear large at first too?
Just something I've been curious about, hope you don't mind me asking :)

also check into what detergent you are using to wash her bedding and clothes. use the mildest...one like ivory snow or dreft and use smaller amounts.
read Eric Fricker's book...emily's vitiligo. It might give you some insight.
In my son I have noticed that the spots do sometimes appear quickly and grow rapidly. some days the spots look worse than other days. I will try to remove gluten and see what effect it has. We are a big fans of bread and removing that will be very difficult but if that's making thing worse than its worth a shot.
at this age....she is most likely allergic to something...it might be something you are eating that she is allergic to. typically gluten and lactose are two of the biggest culprits. could you going gluten free or doing the paleo diet? or one other option is to start her on formula...but it is likely she will not digest that well either. soy formula may or may not work.
At this point (3 months) you can't give her anything except milk. Breast milk is almost always best....however...I don't in your daughter's case....i would check with a pediatric specialist. also would be very careful about starting table foods..etc.
You should take her to pediatric specialist...it is quite possible once the allergens are removed she may re-pigment
Human digestive system cant digest soy . So no soy cowboy formula :)
The most important at what pace they spread .
Ask the doc what amino acid is responsible for pigmentation and can you give it to your daughter . Dont waste time .
