Pseudocatalase?... how to get it?

Does anyone knows how or where to get  Pseudocatalase?

I've been reading so many good things about it, especially with good results in hands and face. I am interested in FACE! I love my hands! :)

Thank you vitiligans!!! :)

  • you can order it by calling (714) 572-2272. it is a pharmacy in california the cost is about $85. no written prescription needed from MD. I am thinking about ordering it as well. Good luck!!
    • Just FYI.

There is a shipping cost of about $40 or $45. Apparently, the medicine needs to be shipped via next day air in a cooler.
  • Hi Lady Jo,

I used Pseudocatalase and loved it. It worked great until the university hospital who was involved in the original research here in Chicago stopped making it. The land was claimed for the Olympics and the place closed. The price at other places is sky high. I have a list of pharmacies in the United States and Canada who compound it (each batch is hand made by a compounding pharmacist).

I'll dig around for the list.

Do you mind sharing the results of this cream ? How long you used ? What were the results ? I can't wait to hear back....I ended up on the website www.pseudocatalase.com and downloaded few articles and pictures.

Amazing results ! Wonder, why our derm NEVER even mentioned once....about this. Interesting....

      • i checked out this website and even submitted my info and my dr's info on their "how to Order" tab. Looks like they can contact my Dr. them selves and find out if it can be filled....
      • Hi Nathan,
I had great results. I repigmented from Pseudocatalase alone. I used it almost 2 years.

My first derm never heard of it and only prescribed it upon my request. (I went to his office armed with articles and a complete set for him to keep.) He verified what I found then wrote the prescription. When I had good results, he started prescribing it to his other vit patients. My second derm knew about it and prescribed it regularly. The second derm actively kept up with research and was thorough.

I can only speculate about why your derm or my first derm never mentioned it. It is not made by a drug company therefore there are no sales reps calling on derm offices or attending the AAD conferences. Unless a derm actively keeps up with their reading and current research, they might not look it up cause vitiligo is only 2% of the population too. Not as popular as acne!

        Yours truly,
        Audrey

  • I asked my derm about it last year and she told me it's still unavailable outside of Europe. Not sure on it's status right now.
