Permanent Makeup

Has any one considered or  tried permanent makeup or  tatooing as an option? I had a tatoo artist, about a year  ago ask me  if I would be interested in trying. He said he done it sucessfully for alot of people when he was in Florida.  I turned him down but I am seriously considering it. I have not had alot of depigmentation and this would be more permanent than the other treatments I tried...PUVA, topical and naturally. The natural is working but it is real slow. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

    I had a tatoo done at the back of my neck to cover up a very white spot, it definietly hid it for a while but then the spot started to spread again and the tatoo don't really make any sense. I regret doing it now. I guess it will work for some spots that would not spread or stay the same size.

      So you used the tattoo to cover your spot, right? I was thinking more of filling the spot in with color to match my skin.
