I have always been a laid back type of guy who never really peaked anybody's attention or was I worthy of it until I got Vitiligo and man did my life change I went from being a person who didn't get any eye contact to a person who gets to damn much eye contact, I went from being a person who was never talked about to being a person who was talked about all the time,

Carl, I think you are a great spokesperson for vitiligo, and we need you to keep on. I knew nothing about vitiigo when I got it as an older adult and it came as a major shock, yeah! Michael Jackson hid it and I think that was too bad, because he could have been a poster boy for our cause. I think you can too! Keep up the honest words and good work!

Dear Betsy I'm smiling as I read this you are so sweet I'm truly honored that you think I should be a spokesperson for vitiligo, but I'm just a small part of this wonderful website I'm just one of many voices in the crowd who's trying to make difference one person at a time
curious, how do u feel about your new found noteriety? have you come to terms with it and use it, or angry and rather not be noticed again?

Marty I don't let my vitiligo get the best of me because life is too short to sit around and worry about what other people might say or do because of my vitiligo I have a very strong spirit and as you can see I'm very vocal when it comes to vitiligo I don't hold my tongue I always have a lot to say because I'm still very outgoing I have had vitiligo for over 27 years now and I have learned to accept it and embrace and if somebody does not look my appearance Oh Well
