This Twilight Zone episode "A Passage for Trumpet" always gets me to look at my life with new perspective. It's got the great quote:
"You take what you get and you live with it. Sometimes it's sweet frosting and nice gravy. Sometimes it's sour -- it goes down hard, but you live with it."

Cheesy but whatever.
Aung San Suu Kyi said something interesting about how she got through difficult times. She said she didn't always think about hope but rather on what was next. I think we, myself included, rely on hope to get us through things. Hope is great but it's not tangible and so sometimes we can lose grasp of it, and when we do, we can feel lost. But focusing simply on what you can do next, I think that can be grounding and a particularly powerful motivator.

just keep moving forward
O-o-h child, things are gonna get easier.
O-o-h child, things'll get brighter.
Some day, we'll put it together and we'll get it all done
Some day, when your head is much lighter
Some day, yeah, we'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun
Some day, when the world is much brighter
