Ive spoken with and have seen several people who has worn make up...I have tried to get a color match a few times...derma blend but for some reason when the make up is applied it turns a different color almost like a burnt orange...does anyone else have this problem? Ive never covered my Vit before but may use it as a option one day...thanks

I have the opposite experience.... I use dermablend and I love it. I actually get compliments on my skin daily- it works wonders!!! I actually mix 2 colors together to get the right tone for my skin. I've been using it for at least 2 years or more. I swim with it and am not afraid to get in the rain because as long as I don't wipe... the make-up stays all day.
I went to the make-up counter years ago (here in Cincy its Dillards) and I experimented with the colors and mixed ones til I got the right ones- soI use the cover cremes and the setting powder. My dermatologist actually said I should hold classes for his patients on applying make-up because I do such a good job.
The only thing I hate and I can't blame dermablend is that because my spots reach sorta under my chin by my ears, I do tend to get make-up on my collars and I can't wear turtlenecks due to the make-up transfer. so I treat my clothes with a stain remover after I take them off and its all good.
The cost however, you have to determine if its worth it and for me... it is.... but I have decided to go the depigmentation route, so I will probably be spray tanning for a bit of color soon if I am lucky! haha

I HATED Dermablend! It never quite covered up the white spots and it made my natural pigment look strange. Cover FX worked better on me, it looked more natural. I think Sephora carries Cover FX so that you can request a sample.
