Interesting.... Please don't judge.

Ok so. As a morning ritual, before walking the dog, i have a nice cup of freshly ground vanilla hazelnut roast with a cigarette. That was up until 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago i decided to replace the coffee with Green Tea and replace the cigarette with a joint. Cannabis. Marijuana. Pot. Yeah, that drug.

Now i'm not saying that this caused re-pigmentation. But i also can't be sure that it didn't. Why? Because i once had a small white patch next to my left eye lid, and since the change, it has slowly gotten darker and darker until finally it matches my tan.

note: i've also been using protopic for the last year.

  • I was a heavy cigarette smoker or at least 12 years. I've quit smoking cigarettes and my vitiligo has still gotten worse. The coffee vs tea thing might have an affect, because coffee/creamer is acidic. I'm still reading the book "The pH Miricle" (http://www.amazon.com/pH-Miracle-Balance-Reclaim-Health/dp/0446528099) and like almost everything else tasty, coffee is one of those negative things. I can also say that when I'm under heavy stress my vitiligo seems to spread. Hence you may be more calm from smoking the special smizzle. :)

I know one thing about myself. I've consistently done more negative things (smoking, drinking, eating junk) more than I've done positive. I'll soon be attempting the diet in this book and while I don't expect my vitiligo to magically get better because of it, if I don't try I'll never know. Even if it doesn't change my vitiligo, I look forward to being more healthy.
  • Is it that you repigmented, or that the weed made you just not care? :-P
And no, I don't judge. Whatever works, I say!
  • Do you still smoke cigarettes?
    • Much less often, but yes.
