HELLO EVERYONE

I am so glad i found this group. I felt so alone and didn't realise I wasn't the only one.

I was diagnosed this year with vitiligo and finding out no cure made me cry for days, i have always been picked on and have had low self esteem and my world seemed to end when this came along.

 

I am hoping to learn about it more and find out if there are degrees of the disease ad find out if its possble to only have mild conditions, i find living here in ottawa, ontario ,caada the summer is the worst time for me....during the rest of the year u can barely see it.

 

I have the condition only on my face and i hope that is where it stays

i feel like a snake shedding my skin lol

    Welcome to the group !!!!! :) :) :) Stay strong !!!! Also, try to find out from your doctor about an ointment called Protopic - also known as Tacrolimus Ointment. This ointment has worked for many who have vitiligo on the face. I use it too. Take care !!! :)
