My name is Andy, and I just joined Vitiligo Friends. But I wanted to let everyone know I am glad to find this group and engage in some meaningful discussion.
Anyway, I am going to the specialist tomorrow to talk about Vitiligo. Now, I have been to three different dermatologists/specialists in the last 5 years, and I have had little success with creams. I am leaning toward narrowband UVB as something to try.
But I was wondering if there is anyone in this group that had already had a similar discussion recently with their specialist. Is there anything I should mention specifically? Is there something else I should ask? It's been a while since I have done this, so I appreciate any feedback.
Andy

With regards to vitamins, my doc got me on: beta carotene; folic + B12; zinplex; scorbex and betanoid.
I also take black seed powder capsules. It is supposed to be good for the immune system.
I would love to offer some fabulous piece of advice on UVB treatment, but seeing as how I'm seeing a specialist on Friday for the first time in 15 years, I'll just welcome you to the forum :-)
Best of luck with the new specialist!
