  • Gluten has become a cliche. Its all grains that reek havoc on our digestive sytems. Grains also bind to important minerals rendering them useless to us because we cannot absorb them. Minerals also need the fat absorption system to be functioning properly to be absorbed. Fat absorption is a wide spread issue in modern countries. every disease works in the same fashion, , at the cell level. It happens for three basic reasons the cell is TOXIC, SUFFOCATING (lack of o2), and, STARVING (deprived of nutrients). Thats it. Dont worry about genetics,, genes turn off and on all the time depending on the health of their environment. We need to eat what we are supposed to and supplement right and ill explain what i mean more in depth later im out of time. But strongly believe this amd other disease processes can be reversed simply as long as we dont cheat.
    • What do you think about nightshades? Do you think they can bring us problems? Or do you think we can eat them without any problem?

      Thanks!

      :-)

      • Ive read quite a few times to stay away from night shades /: . amd to answer your previous question, i havent had success because i havent started doing what i want to yet but i am confident in everything i am putting together (:
    • I agree with you! And there is a reason to start again with paleo diet. This diet is a little bit difficult to follow, but I will try at least the best as possible.

Have you got any experience with paleo diet or at least a diet without grains?

      Thanks!

  • Gluten means what
    • It is a protein found in cereals (barley, wheat, oats, rye) that, in some people, harms the inside wall of your gut, creating some problems like malabsorption of proteins, (something like particles of foods entering your system before having being broken down into aminoacids), diarrha and destruction of absorption terminals inside gut because it becomes irritated.

Some studies link gluten to most autoinmune diseases (vitíligo, psoriasis, ms, artritis, lupus, hashimotos, etc).

A theory says that since green revolution that increased yields in cereals is responsable for much higher content of gluten in these grains and therefore the increase in autoinmune diseases

  • I've been gluten free for 3 years and no changes in my vit condition. i continued gluten free because I feel good and some digestive problems are a thing of the past.

  • I am following a gluten free diet, but not vegan. I eat meat and in general everything, but gluten. I started my gluten free diet in summer, but I don't see any repigmentation in my vitiligo. I will continue trying different ways, but I think I will continue with my gluten free diet.

    • Tried for around 45 days. No improvement & stopped
