Folks with Vitiligo in London

Hi Everyone, I'm a london based freelance photographer and student working on a project about vitiligo. I also have vitiligo around my eyes so I understand the sensitivity about being a subject of a photograph. I have initiated a project and am looking for participants(both male and female) this will be a fun outlet for anyone participating and you will have a high quality fine art print of your image.(I will print it myself) I will also refund any travel costs within london. I've been wanting to do this for a long time now and I finally have some time to commit to it, so if anyone is interested please get in contact via my page here. either send me a friend request or message. Hi!

I'm new here and am kind of just looking around the forum, and found this thread. I am 20 years old, have segmental vitiligo (so it us stable and doesn't change at all) and yeah, this project sounds interesting! I live in London due to studies so if i can help/participate in any way, i'd like to :)

Hi Avi,

Just a note to say hello and would love to follow your project. I live in Pennsylvania and have had vitiligo about 9 months now. Just wanted to also find out if you have had any depigmentation of your eye lashes with the vitiligo? I have it around my left eye and lost the pigment in my lashes. Very interesting looking. Told my daughters I was gonna start wearing colored mascara and live it up a little. My vitiligo has a very definite line...almost looks like a skin graft on the left side of my face.

  Half my left eyebrow is white because of vitiligo and if i grew a mustache half of that would be white too from vit, a bit strange looking for a guy with dark brown hair. And the vit hairs are absolutely as white as the driven snow lol...

  Thanks Kim, I will update developments on this site. as for my vitiligo its only on the skin but grows and shrinks and moves around a bit and its just around the inside of my eyes.
