Finally I decided to try Dead sea treatment

I have heard for many years about the repigmentation power of Dead sea treatments  ,I know some one who has got some repigmentation , there is nothing which help 100% but I will try it in April while I have the possibility to do it, I will let you know the result.

Is there any body who has been on medication tour in Isreal(dmz-medical senter ) or Jordan(Dead sea spa hotels medical senter) please share your experience.

I have decided to try all the remedies before I try  surgical treatment.

With best wish for all!

    • Hi DJ

Thank you for sharing your  experience , as you say  the climate has main factor, As I understand it is the combination of  both climate and minerals, the  unique natural sun filter around dead sea  might have some affections too… remember it is the lowest point on the earth and the sea water has high density of minerals some of the minerals I think about 20 of them you never find it in any other sea.

I heard most repigmentation appears when you do it under consultation through doctors as a minimum 2 or 3 weeks therapy.

Is it true that the water on the Dead sea is so tick that you never sink just flow with out swimming….. I can`t wait to see that.

BTW thanks for the link , I choose to travel by my self and contacted Dr Bisarat in Jordan..the only problem is there ia no cheep alternative most hotels are 5 stars the only 4 star hotel is fully bookd for regular rooms..Most ppl travel to Deadsea for medical reson .I am not sad when I found out that it is fully booked for regular rooms from end of march to may ...I felt rather wow ..this must be some thing which works when ppl travel every year with proffesor Karin S. they must have seen some good repig.

      • I'm not sure if you are planning a trip to Jordan or Israel, but if you are trying to save money you may want to find a Hostel within driving distance of the Dead Sea rather than paying top dollar at a luxury hotel.  If in Israel, there may be a low cost Kibbutz that you can stay at within driving distance from the Dead Sea.

Also, the rumors are true.  The Dead Sea is so salty that you float rather than sink.

        • I am going to Jordan ,,,I am trying to find cheeper solution...may be will find out when I am there..Jordan is cheeper than Isreal.

It is not fun when you stay in luxury hotel while you travlling for treatment ...may be the lexury feeling has some effect too ....you never know.

If this treatment helps ..I will try to study the cheepest way to get this treatment for all. It is the price which scars many vities not to try this treatment

  • I visited the Dead Sea a few times.  While I have repigmented a bit, I give more credit to the sun rather than the Dead Sea.

While living in Israel for 6 months, I did get to swim in the Dead Sea a couple times over the summer.  The Dead Sea is in a hot desert climate.  The water in the summer is very warm like soup, but probably will not be so warm if you plan to visit in April.  The water is extraordinarily salty.  So salty even the ground under your feet is covered in salt.  Try not to go in the water with cuts as they will burn, and definitely do not get any water in your eyes.  Also, expect the experience of floating on water rather than swimming in water.

The hotels along the Dead Sea are very nice in my opinion.  I stayed at an Isrotel hotel for a day.  Most of the employees speak English and Hebrew.  The food is tasty, the service is pretty good, and overall I had a nice stay.  One thing I liked about the hotel was an indoor swimming pool that pumped water from the Dead Sea into the indoor pool.

If you are looking for a hotel you can visit http://maps.google.com and search for "israel isrotel dead sea hotel" and there will be a group of hotels along the south west edge of the Dead Sea.
