My wife, daughter, and I are on a family vacation, of sorts, and are working this week at a school in remote India for children of leprosy-affected parents. Yesterday was our first day with the children. Dozens of them came over to me, each holding my hand as a friend, and they would point to my large Vitiligo patches on the back of my hands and say, "What is this?" Innocent questions, asked without judgement or any negativity, from children who have seen much worse disfigurement in their own lives. Today we will visit one of the colonies where many of their parents live.
