Why is it so hard for people to believe that Michael Jackson had Vitiligo. People used to say Awwwwww he has no skin disease he bleached his self I got so tired of hearing that and then after meeting me some people say Oh yeah I believe it now I believe Michael Jackson has a skin disorder because I see your skin, Vitiligo is so rare that most people have not seen anybody with it yet so that's why it's so hard to believe that Michael Jackson had it
i totally feel the same way... i'm so tired of people asking "...okay so why did michael jackson decide to become white...?" people are so ignorant and obsessed with gossip and rumors.. they wanna believe something scandalous and interesting instead of the facts.
While I am a huge MJ fan, I sometimes wished he would have left his vitiligo alone and not taken the road to use make-up and depigment. That could have gone a whole lot further in helping our cause, if he could have stood up before his fans and been a true role model. Just my opinion though.
Anyway I feel blessed for having Vitiligo- It makes me see clearly that the popularity of certain human mutations are very much determined by the media. The media requires the human to fit an idea that is created by the media. However being human doesn’t mean being an idea ....It means a lot more than that. Why would anyone need the media to tell them how they should look like ? What is the purpose of being told what you should look like?
I am a big fan too. And you are right I think people that judge Michael are moroons.I hate when The media starts that kind of behaviour just to make more profits!!
This is funny I had the same experience just recently, ingnorant fools!!!!!! People will buy into anything the media tells them to, we just need the media to tell the truth and that most likley that will not ever happen. We all just have to keep shoving awareness in there face and someday they will swollow it.
