About Me:

I am 51 years old and have had vitiligo since I was 5 years old. My mom took me to Hopkins and many other doctors to see if there was anything that could help. I had the spots everywhere. I wore pants n long socks for most of my life because I was embarrassed. People would shame me at work thinking I had a catchy disease. I had to get special permission to get out of swim class so I wouldn't be self conscious. I was quiet n insecure in which caused me to end up in abusive relationships. A few years back my whole body turned completely white. I was over the moon Happy! For the first time I could wear bathing suits n shorts n feel normal. But now my skin is reinventing. I had two cortisone shots in the back of my head for headaches n now back to spotting n feeling self conscious again. Would love to talk to others with the same. What clothing if anyone wears sunscreen clothing or what sunscreen. Thank you
