About Me:

I'm here looking to meet others who share the same experiences I do regarding Vitiligo. Some people see nothing wrong, then there are others who are afraid to touch my skin out of fear. I saw in my own marriage, as the Vitiligo spread, my wife would hold my hand less often. I struggle some days with my self esteem. Although, my hands may look horrid to others, God has blessed me with the gift of art and writing. I wish more people would look at the heart of a person rather their outward appearance. My Vitiligo started after my college years and has spread mainly on my arms, hands, feet and legs, I have small spots appearing on my neck and face now. I've been trying to upload a pic but keeps telling me there was and error. I've change the size and pic type several times. same error. I'll try again to add a pic.
