About Me:
I am a 54 year old mother of two boys and have had this disease for many years. Started approximately 25 years ago as white spots on my hands and has gotten progressively worse as I age. Most of my body is completely white, except for my arms are sort of speckled and my face and neck are just "mottled" is the word I like to use. Caused me to feel uncomfortable when I go out. Feel like people are staring. Also, I am currently unemployed, so affording the coverup makeup is out of the question. I try not to let it get me down, but I do have my days . . .
