22 year old who loves cats anime and kpop. I got vitiligo at 8 years old. started using makeup in 6th grade when spots on hands and face got bigger. I went through UV light treatment but now I have a lot more spots on my skin, feet, lips, and ears and elbows. For me, it grew back a lot from stress. Trying to find friends with vitiligo, we can do meet ups, i would like to learn to love it. Right now I feel embarrassed to talk to someone with vitiligo myself. I need tons of help!

Please stay strong.
I started with my Vitiligo about 10+ years ago.
My hands, elbows, underarms, etc..
It was initially humbling.
I have learned to embrace it.... we see it more than others do....
I have learned a lot about myself and this condition...
Through my friends and family - I have learned that most people see others as a whole - not focusing on the slight differences...it becomes just a part of who you are...just like a new hair cut, etc...
I feel unique and special now....
You need to step back and look at yourself as a whole...not just the spots... i promise that it is more about our perception then it is the world that views us... =)))
