I'm 32 happily married and have one child. I have had vitiligo since I was 16 I think? It really has effected my confidence as it is around my eyes. Although people say they can not see it I don't believe them! I have learnt to live with the condition but really wished we had a cure. I don't mind it in my hands and legs but I hate it being around my eyes. I want to speak to other switch this condition. I see people with it but it's too personal to ask them questions and share my experiences so hopefully I will meet like minded people here

Hello and welcome!!!! Glad you joined our group!!!! Next time you see a dermatologist, ask about Protopic ointment also known as Tacrolimus. This ointment is best known to heal vitiligo on the face. Doesn't work on other areas for majority. But you have to use it continuously to keep the spots under control. You should know, there is no cure for us yet.
