About Me:

I am 39 and I have had vitiligo since I was 12. It started with 7 spots on my back, under my arms and torso. They stayed the same the same size for about 15 years until I got pregnant and they grew a bit and I got a few more and by the time I had all my 4 kids I had way more vitiligo than before. I don't have it on my face or hands so it has never bothered me much. It is just a part of me and who I am. I have other autoimmune conditions too. My concern is my children. My son has 2 big vitiligo spots on his hips and my oldest daughter just started to get some spots last week and she has about 15-20 already. She is only 11 and fair skinned but she has got one on her face. I also have a twin sister that got her vitiligo at 34 years of age.
