i'm just curious what your doctor have on theory of vitiligo cures
in general the doctors that i have been seeing all agree it an autoimmune disease
treatment that i received from several doctors :
Doctor A - he's a dermatologist
Oral medication : psoralen
Injection of steroid on patches
daily dose of morning sunlight
result: my skin now is quite sensitive to sunlight, and easily burn T_T
Doctor B - he's a naturopathy doctor
his medication involve with traditional herbal medication
i do ANA test
his theory is that the underlining condition can be improved to medication, but the doctor never get clear explanation on this.
only lasted less than 2 years, since when taking his medication my vitiligo get expand quickly
Doctor C
he has theory that every auto-immune condition can be triggered by food intake.
done T3, T4 test (normal result),
and also iGG food allergies test (high rank for dairy, wheat, kelp, )
his medication involved on using black pepper lotion and daily dose of UV/sunlight, some home made supplement and diet based on Igg testing. few patient that do strict diet based on test showed some improvement
my vitiligo seems to triggered by stress (simple but hard to overcome, especially if it work related)
so what about your doctor theories ?
