WOULD ANYBODY ON VITILIGO FRIENDS BE INTERESTED IN A FILMED DOCUMENTARY ABOUT OUR SITUATION ???

I have two friends of mines on Facebook who are film documentary producers I'm going to get in contact with them to see if they would be interested in making a filmed documentary about vitiligo and some of us members of this web page (Vitiligo Friends) would be the ones featured and I know that most documentaries need a financial backing for production cost like cameras,film,studio equiptment etc. as soon as I get the information about how much a documentary like this would cost I will let you know and I will get in contact with you to see who wants to be in the documentary I think this would be a great idea and it would bring some much needed awareness for our cause

    i would be interseted in helping out in some way. i think this is a really good idea! i may be able to do a fundraiser thro my school or some thing like that to get funds. well keep me posted and again this is a REALLY good idea! :)

    I think its great idea for everyone to no about this. The only celeb to do this was Lee Thomas now is the time view more ppl with this skin problem i hate using the D word

    I have already emailed my local news station in houston channel 2 a couple days of but I have not heard nothing back from them yet .if I don't hear anything from them soon I am going actually call them

    Great, Great, Great Idea.

    I actually, reached out to CBS on this last week, via email. Waiting to hear back from them.

    Will let the forum know, if I make some progress. I want them to do a special 1 hour program.....

      u'd probably have better luck with one of the cable networks. they seem to work more with human interest stuff.

    Really it would, that will be great, but am sure only people over there will participate in it. All the same am in support from here as it is really going to help. I have done a Documentary on Vitiligo titled - More to Life havin in it, five persons with Vitiligo, a psychologist, a beautician, a Dermatologists and it will be going on air by end of this weekend as soon as I get free airtime to air it.
    Really a nice one, did it for awareness, we premiered it on the 18th of July, you need to see people crying, it was a shocking revelation to so many, people do not really know Vitiligo thus the segregation.
    Also finished shooting TV fillers for vitiligo awareness, will be uploading them here soon.

    Welldone and please it would really help if it can be done.
