This is the point when the general public see beyond the patched skin towards acceptannce of all human regardless of how we look. This is only through education, support and awareness. My idea is to change the world's persepective towards vitiligans. How then can the world change? I am sure we all have friends who don't even want to discuss about our skin condition because they are afraid to insult us. Why not start by being open to those close to you and they become the change agents on the new paradigm shift. I have taken the 1st step in my country of origin South African, we are ready to viducate (vitiligo education) them.
What have you done to change the world?

I agree I love being me and dont apologize, hide, run, or shed a tear for being different. I am who i am and im gonna be who i be. I am also trying to take us to a new level to be accepted. My confidence level is so high, maybe to high sense some people tell me im conceited but I'll take that too lol. There is so much that still needs to be done and im ready to take as many steps needed. Keep doing what u doing :-)
i am constantly viducating and i walk around like an open book, I refuse to let the disease get the best of me, and i wear my spots proudly, if someone stares i stare back and smile, if someone asks i viducate, now that i know purple is the color for vitiligo awareness i will proudly diplay and tell <3 i will not be a prisoner in my own body!
@ Mulumba thanks a lot, @ Sukrutha it was hard for me 1st but talking about it gave me the courage 2 do it. I want 2 fly the purple ribbon through out the country, because most people don't know about vitiligo.
