Hi friends,
Someone asked "how do you explain your vitiligo to a stranger?" This is a very important question. My answer is that there is a need for an extensive Musical campaign in form of a jingle to the public to creat awareness about vitiligo and to stop discriminations againgst vitiligo.
I could recollect an incident that occurred sometimes ago while i was recording in a studio when my back-up singer refused to use the mic that i was using simply because she was afraid of contacting vitiligo through the mic i had used.
It was very embarrasing but i later realised and got to understand that she acted out of ignorance that vitiligo is not contagious. Lots of people discriminates because they are not enlightened or informed about what vitiligo is, and that its never a threat to them because its not contagious.
As a result of this incident, i've composed a jingle title V.C.S "Vitiligo Campaign Song " to create awareness and i'll want you to help me share it freely all over the globe, both online and offline, radios and other media inclusive
