vitiligo cover lotion

HI how are you! At the first I have to tell everyone that I am a asian girl so my first language is not English. I hope you could understand me. I have this problem since 2005. I could say I hate it. The most white spot are on my body. Right now the summer is coming. I couldnt wear the T-shirt. Because I dont want to people see me in strange. I come here to ask all of my friends here. You usually use what kind of cream or lotion to cover the white spot? Here has a Vitiligo Couver Lotion. Who used it? And it does work or not? From Natalia's picture I guess its a wonder lotion to couver the vitiligo. but I have a yellow skin. Does it work on my skin? Or someone has a good experience of covering. Could you share with us? I need some waterproof cover things. Because I want to go to swim. Thank you guys!

  • Has anyone tried spray tanning at a salon? My bestfriend watches me pathetically attempt to cover the vitiligo on my hands with tanning lotion and she mentioned tome that a spray could possibly cover up my vitiligo well... but i'm naturally tan already so i'm afraid i'll end up a horrible disaster... My BF did say she saw a girl go into the salon with a really bad sun burn and when the lady got done spraying her, you couldn't tell a bit and the tan looked natural...
    • Hi there! I live in Columbia South Carolina. I am new to this site as of today. I signed up because I have some exciting news to share with you. I own a tanning salon and we offer the UV-Free Airbrush Spray Tan. This is the kind that I actually spray the client, rather than them getting into a booth that sprays you. Because I spray the client, it is customized for their body and needs. I sprayed a lady last night that has been living with Vitiligo for two years. She has lost pigment all down her arms except for her hands. Her back and legs are very spotty. She came back to show me how good she looked today, and told me that I am her new best friend!! It is very hot here in the south, and she has spent time and money investing in clothes that are cool, but will basically cover her body so that she doesn't let people see any of her skin. She walked into my salon with a sleeveless top on and shorts!!! I almost cried! She was so happy, but confused about why she hadn't been recommended to get sprayed by her dermatologists. She has spent a lot of time researching about Vitiligo (over the internet, I assume) and she hadn't seen any information about spray tanning being a cosmetic solution to even up the white vs. not white areas of the skin.
So, I am here to spread the word about UV-Free Airbrush Spray Tanning. Look it up in your area, find the kind where a person sprays you, not the machine, and give it a try. If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer. Michele
      • Hi Michelle. Thanks for sharing this news. Would like to know how long the tan lasts before you need the next application? I am from Namibia & will have to see whether they have it here.

        Regards.

      • How would you use the UV-Free Airbrush Spray Tanning, if you have patches of white spots and not all over the body? Also, do Tanning Salons do this stuff? I live in New York.
