vitiligo and laser hair removal.

I was watching a segment on TV about laser hair removal.  They were saying shaving is so 1990's etc...... As they were explaining the procedure the said the laser destroys the hair follical.

SO since "Repigmentation of vitiligo depends on available melanocytes from three possible sources: from the hair follicle unit which is the main provider of pigment cells, from the border of vitiligo lesions, and from unaffected melanocytes within depigmented areas" unfortunatly, think we should stay away from the lasers. ;0(

  • That's a really interesting thing to point out. BUT I HAVE A MUSTACHE. Hahaha. Just kidding. Not really... I'm partly Italian. I guess I'll stick to waxing. :)
    • Oh that is a really good point, what to do, what to do!!!!!

I lasered my armpits 7 years ago, I had a spot in my armpit, it has never gotten bigger, but am now thinking it wasn't a smart thing to have done?
