Hi Ragini, You should look into using narrowband uvb or excimer laser. You can buy a narrowband uvb light on ebay for about 250. I've also heard excimer laser does a better job and has a higher success rate. One option you may be interested in that I tried (but it is a slow process) is called melonocyte transplate.
If you don't mind me asking, where are your spots? UVB, for me works everywhere except where my skin is either very thin or hairless (feet, wrists and knee). I put the pro topic on, use the light for a few days in a row and if its going to repigment I usually see results within a week. If not, I stop, and go back to it at a later time. If I had to pay for it I'm not sure I'd get as good of results because its kind of an art; figuring out the flares, the location, etc...and I'm not sure I'd have figured it out if I had to pay for every treatment. I use to pay, got sick of waiting for my appointment eyc....i found someone selling their machine, best thing i ever id. It seems crazy to pay for a 60 second light treatment, sometimes that's all I need for a new spot.
I have spots on my legs hands arms hands and back and one small one on face. i am thinking to buy my own machine too... I didn't like to wait for long time and session takes only 60 sec. and i think few times this tech. for UVB room she just had fan on with cold air i didn't feel any heat..such a waste of money..I am glad that UVB works for you.Total 10 treatment i didn't see any result , my doctor want me to have 18 and than decide if i want to continue or not? i stopped.. i don't know if it was right choice? Now i am just using protopic and good diet , vitamins etc
Hi.. I am using UVB from last two months (weekly two or three sittings) for two patches near to my elbow on both the hands, my right hand side patch seeing some positive response...... maybe if everything go fine it may close/clear in a month.I will upload pictures once it is clear.
But on the other hand I didn’t see any response till this time and my understand it is very difficult to see the response near to bone area.

I am glad to hear that its working for you. how long is your sitting?
UV is very dangerous if you do not have resources.
It will weaken you after sometime even if you have some supplements.
If you take too long then your tyroid will start erode.
Unfortunately doctors are not aware of the dynmaics involved UV application.
Dosage adjustment is essential, if too much you will get no pigment at all.
Hi XvitiX,
thanks, i do know that UVB is dangerous if you use it for long time.
I already have Hypothyroid..this vit and thyroid problem came to gather few years ago.so I stopped UVb.

Hi Ragini-
Have you tried to treat your vitiligo from the inside? (Food, vitamins, etc.)
