Hello nice people.
I've got a question and it would be great if i can have some helpful information.
I've just been prescripted to go for a 10 sessions uvb narrow band light therapy. Sadly my private health care here in Buenos Aires refused to cover my treatment inspite of being a really high and overpriced plan, let alone the fact that the uncovered treatment is extorsion. I'm moving to England on July with my wife (she's english) and i wanted to know what's an average price for the same treatment in England, knowing already that it can vary relying on the location, etc. I need just an aproximation taking in account that i'm probably going to be completely uncovered health-wise whilst my visa thing is sorted out.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Claudio,
I didn't see your question until today and wondered if you are in the UK now and whether you have sorted your UVb treatment out. If you are a permanent resident here, and employed, you can probably have your treatment on the NHS. I had about one year's worth of UVb for free as part of my successful treatment 4 years ago and it was very effective. I would advise you to address your nutritional needs at the same time though, otherwise results from UVb can often prove temporary. In my experience there is usually an underlying digestive issue causing vitiligo so it has to be treated from the inside as well as the outside. I hope that - very belated - reply to your questions helps. I have shared lots more information on my story site at www.vitiligoprotocol.co.uk
Good luck :)
