  • Vitiligo is easily curable now. You can tryAyurveda medicines. That gives complete cure without any side effects. For more details. visit: https://padanjaly.com/leukoderma-vitiligo-treatment.htm

    • Friends,

Vitiligo is not curable yet.  This post above (from mariya123) is a lie.  It's a clinic advertisement.

However, there are many good treatments available in the market nowadays.

I've been advocating the Functional Treatment one, since it's very comprehensive.  Although it's very good, it demands a lot of dedication and will power.  It's a surrender due to the fact you have to take many actions at the same time.

More details at: http://www.vitiligomap.com/protocol.html (it's just a good starting point.)

  • Hello Babu,

I had underwent this treatment long ago around 15 years back (then i was a teen), to be frank it really didnt work for me(Not demotivating you, just a personal review).

My personal suggestion would be, take your kid for an early sunbath which wont burn your kids skin ( as vitiligo patients have a sensitive skin) and maintain a proper diet like avoiding too much of non veg, citric products, egg plant, etc. Also, i would suggest that you have an allergy test performed on your kid, which will help you diagnose all the suspected allergens tested at the same time.

All the best and just help your daughter remain positive as she is getting into her teen age, never feel her let down because of dual tone issue.  :)

    Warm Regards,

    Nikz.

    • Hi Nikz,

Yes, Sun is always the best treatment.Unfortunately, we are living in a place where we dont see sun for almost 7-8 months in a year.

We have checked her for gluten, celiac, and thyroid. All are negative. Will ask dr again to suggest for allergy tests . Its been almost three years that we have checked her.We are not avoiding certain foods, but we surely are limiting her in taking them.

We are also praying that her teen years should go on smoothly and that she should remain as a happy and confident girl.

Thank you very much, for all the suggestions.

Wishing you, All the very best !!

  • Hi Babu,

    Find the lamp suggestion below:

    9W UVB NB Lamp

UVB NB is a good treatment, however, it needs to be supported by supplements (vitamins and minerals).

    More details below:

    http://www.vitiligomap.com/protocol.html

    Regards.

    • Thank you , for all the information Robot.

      its very helpful and detail..:)

have you tried that uvb lamp..?

      if so, what's your feedback..?

      Thanks

      • Hi Babu,

Yes.  It works if you combine it with:

        -diet

        -supplements

        -anti-oxidants (topical and pills)

Also remember to do an allergy test in order to eliminate the allergens that would cause oxidative stress.

Oxidative stress is the main vitiligo cause.  It's essentially an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the ability of the body to counteract or detoxify their harmful effects through neutralization by antioxidants.

The major factors for consideration are: food allergy, poor diet, leaky gut and dysbiosis (parasites, candida, h-pylori, yeast, fungus, etc.).

  • Hi Babu, my suggestion is not to use UVB at this age, go with some natural medicine, first understand the reasons why it is triggering for your daughter and treat that first. UVB may cure, but when u stop using it ,the patches may come again and it also has side effects.

If u still want to try UVB we have one manufacturing unit in South India ( Chennai, near perungudi ) ,so u can buy it from there.

Let me know the place you stay ,so that I can suggest you some medicines near by if I know any!

    • Hi Vamsi,

Uvb treatment is the only treatment our dermatologist is recommending for now.

we want to use it with less time duration as maintainance.

not considering any internal medicines. We are using vitamins as suggested by our derm.

not following anyother diet restrictions, but limited usage of dairy and highly citrus fruits.

Can you pls share more details about  uvb unit in chennai.

      have you tried it..?

      Thanks
