To all my Vitiligo Friends

Hi Everyone: How is everyone doing now seeing that it's starting to get so hot. For me, dressing for work is my biggest stress. I don't mind when I have to go out or home - I tried to wear short sleeves and cover up makeup - even though it's never the right shade. But for work, I can't bring myself to use the makeup and wear short sleeves. I feel someone is going to notice and ask me a bunch of questions. I work in an office, so inside is okay with the AC and everything but to and from work is hard with long sleeves and long pants...........because of this I hate Summer. Don't want to bring anyone down but any advise for me are welcome.

This is a big issue for me as well... I don't want ppl looking and wondering... I cover my face with makeup and hide my arms and legs in long sleeves and pants all summer long...

I had this same problem last summer, but this year I work at a place this summer where I have to wear business casual so as a guy that means dress shirt and pants. What worked for me was just finding light long sleeve shirts or buttons downs that looked stylish. I sometimes would get asked if I was hot but I never was. Sometimes I just don't care and wear a short sleeve shirt though. I have only had one or two people that ask me questions aren't in a mean kind of way. Most people I have found out don't care, which has been encouraging for me.
