My temporary coverups solution is "Jergens" Natural Glow it works like a sunless tanning and its a daily moisturizer for the body.  I only apply it to the spots on my elbows, arms and neck; so it eventually blends with my natural tanning skin.  Jergerns can be found at any grocery store or pharmacy, like CVS or Walgreens and this will not damage your skin. I usually apply it every night and mornings before leaving home.  I am glowing in this new way of coverups, I also apply it below my eyes since I have a white circle around my entire eyes and am using vanilla sugar eye shadow from Bare Essentials for above the eye its a peachy color which blends nicely with my earthtones eye shadow, my friends has complimented my makeup several times, only if you get in my face that you will see the white patches visible.
