tattoos

so i want some tattoos when i get older and i was wondering if getting tattoos creates more white spots. i was going to get it on a place where i already have a white spot but i do not want it to spread. if anyone can help me out that'd mean alot.

    Hey ..watch out ,the vit must be stable before you try tatto, if vit is stable you can even use micropigmentation it is a kind of medical cosmetic tatto treatment for vitiligo.

    I got tattoo last july 12 on my feet because i have big white spot on it..and for a change i wnated people to notice my tattoo not my vit..at the moment i havent seen anything wrong on my vit...

    GREAT QUESTION.

    I too was thinking of covering up a few of mine (on feet) with tattoo's.  My concern wasn't if it would cause more white spots but rather what if the white spots continue to grow beyond the tat.  I accidently burned myself with an iron right on the edge of a spot and it has not grown past the red scar but has grown a bit in the other direction.

    I can't speak for everyone, but I have a tattoo on my foot and my Vit hasn't spread much on that foot. I only have one though, so it might be different for other people
