Question for the group. I am off to our beach vacation and want to know when I apply my Protopic in the am and head to the beach I will sit in the sun with the Protopic on for around 15 min (I did this when I went camping and a few spots on my hand turned pink and have really faded away i am really happy about this.) back to my question. So after the 15 min can I spray my sunscreen on top of the Protopic or should I go under the umbrella for another 45 min then wipe off and spray on sunscreen,

Normally sun and Protopic is not advised …some Derms allow with for few minuts as you did. About using sun block..I rather advice you to stay in the shade and avoid mid day strong sun..some sun screens have Benzopenones which is not good for us because it create inflammation on the skin.Use new sun screen cream ,after opening they don`t have long shelf life ask the producer to be shure.
