Hi, I used Protopic on my face for about a year or so, but got scared as I pretty much continually had cold sores that I don't usually have (maybe once a year). Vitiligo on the corners of mouth is still there, of course.... Also I saw something on teh internet saying that a new study has shown Protopic is dangerous after all, but can't remember where and when.
Anybody know anything? I know abotu the force-fed rats and such, but is there any new info out there? I'm a bit scared to start it again.

I dont think it is advised to use protopic for longer period...If you see good result using it withinn 3-6 monthes and want to continue for longer than a year ..you should ask your doctor how you have to use it.
