Thanks Wubshet for your update and sharing your recipe. I am recently diagnosed with vitiligo and reading stories like yours gives me hope. I avoided eating processed foods and trying to eat a balanced diet. I am taking vitamin D3 as my blood result shows low on vitamin D3. I guess my vitiligo is triggered by the spring pollen allergy.
Happy New Year to you too! May it be a year of re pigmentation to all of us!!! Please keep us posted and thanks again!
I have vitamin D deficiency too. I read an article about vitamin D deficiency in people affected by vitiligo- it is common. Your vit is new therefore I think you can manage it by avoiding certain foods and by making your life as stress free as possible.
Thanks for sharing your blog, As you see you try to live healthy life you repig and depig as well , bing vegan doesnt help vit ..in India it is most vegans who develop vitiligo.. If some one feel Health by adding og avoidding some deit just do it ..the key is to be healty it is not bad for overall Health.
reaserchers say there is no any evidence showing diet is connected to vitiligo, we have to avoid foods that are allergic to us ,if we have no allergic we can consume all regular Foods and live a normal life, the only thiory from some doctors is too much of every thing is not good , don`t over do vitamin c and citrus fruits ,we need some of it, the key is variety and balanced diet and less stressful life style it has helped me stabilize my vit...I have tried all diet remedies nothing help..
Remember the only proven vitiligo trigger is stress , creating stress by choosing foods may worsen vitiligo. ...our body needs all vitamins and minerals to produce melanin...balanced life is adviced.
I agree with you! I think we all agree that processed foods are not good for everybody. I decided to change my diet just to have a healthy productive life. The vit. re-pigmentation is unexpected result. I have already decided to live with vit; It doesn't bother me at all. That decision by itself has given me a less stress life. Whether we have vit or not, we should enjoy life as much as we can.
