Hi there,
Has anyone tried to take prednislone to stop the spreading of their vitiligo? I have done a lot of research that shows a small daily dose can help arrest patches from spreading any further. Just curious if any of you have tried this?

I took this in conjunction with UV treatment and topical application of Protopic and Dovobet ointments. My understanding is that the tablets help to arrest the spread,but once I stopped,eventually,it started again.
Its definitely worth trying if you're thinking about trying it-but I think its only prescribed for a short period of time.
