Positive Attitude to Vitiligo

I started thinking about what bothered me most about having Vitiligo, after all, it is more of a cosmetic problem than anything else. Why worry about what other people think? When it has not changed who I am and the way God sees you who look at the heart and not the physical. Vitiligo may have knocked us down but it hasn’t knocked us out!

    Dear Ogo in a earlier discussion I caught a lot of hell from other Vitiligo members because I decided to be upbeat and positive about my Vitiligo and it was upsetting the people who choose to not be as upbeat and positive as you and I

      I really do understand you Carl, I can understand how people react with Vitiligo now because I come across somany with different approach to it. People are totally same, even in all my PA attitude campaign, some people living with Vitiligo tells me that I dont understand what they go through as they believe cant possibly be Vitiligo because of the way I carry it.
      We are all created by one God but have our strengthens & talents in different categories and areas.

      We shall continue to encourage them and I believe that someday they will, I have such cases....

    Ogo you are so right, Vitiligo is a cosmetic thing I don't think it will get the amount of recognition that diseases like cancer gets !!!!!

      I agree with you Carl, but it can still get the attention if we want it to especially if we are ready to blow the agony of most persons living with Vitiligo. Funnily even persons living with Cnacer will not wish to have Vitiligo especially severe one.
      Everything depends on how we go about it.

    When I open my eyes I see nothing stopping me from living life. Having a positive attitude is really hard to work on when you let yourself down. Don't give in to a mean word. Mean words don't give anyone control over you unless you're willing to let them in.
