definitely have to careful of many of these so called treatment that are motivated by greed. Its the snake oil mentality that won't go away. Of course the advent of internet and social media have further expanded the horizons of these people. I believe in karma though. Any good or harm you do in the world will eventually come back to you or your family.
That being said there is a need for comprehensive treatment centers to focus on vitiligo and vitiligo research. Yes it does afflict 1 to 1.5 percent of the population and a higher percentage of that population happens to be in Southeast Asia. I would sincerely urge anyone with a scientific background or an interest in documentary to become a part of the solution. Unfortunately are best shot is to become guniea pigs and try the various treatments on ourselves. There is so much conflicting anecdotes that is hard to decide how to manage and cope with this complex disorder.
On the bright side vitiligo does not cause physical pain, isn't life threatening....its not cancer were the words the dermatologist used. I urge everyone to post about any positive experiences with any treatments they have personally used.
Wishing everyone great health and peace of mind.
Please could somebody be willing to test this out with very guarded and cautious optimism. Perhaps maybe Adnan Halim...
I definitely think that some aspects of chinese and indian medicine may be benefit in treating (not necessarily curing. the word is used incorrectly and very liberally by shameful marketeer and people out to make money).
thats why I think its important for people WHO ARE AFFECTLY by vitiligo to actively start looking for effective, long term treatments that aren't harmful. LET'S CURE THIS DISEASE IN OUR LIFETIMES!
