New attack on my vit

I have launched a new attack on my vit as below. After three weeks, I can see the positive signs. I will keep you posted.

General attack:

  1. Medical:
    1. UVB at a hospital twice a week [PNS Shifa Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan]
  2. Herbal
    1. Half teaspoon of Babchi (Psoralea corylifolia) seeds in the morning after the breakfast [I take on working days only. Sunlight is important, which I catch on my hands and face while leaving for the office].
    2. A black pepper seed and a neem tree leaf early in the morning [I preserve neem tree leaves in the refrigerator]
    3. More use of fruits, vegetables [prefer cucumber as salad] and green tea.
  3. Homoeopathic:
    1. Homoeopathic drops early in the morning and tablets thrice a day [Schwabe’s  Arsenum sulfuratum flavum 200 and 6x prescribed by Dr Inam at Dr Hamid General Homoeo, Karachi]

Targeted attack:

  1. Medical:
    1. Lotion and ointment, initially on the spots on hands and face only [Betonil lotion and Eczemus 0.1 ointment (Tacrolimus)]
  2. Herbal:
    1. Apply coal tar on a spot on leg for testing purposes. I use Karosene oil to moisturize it. I keep it for three days and then reapply with a three-day gap. During the gap, I apply spanish oil on the spot twice a day.
    2. Mix turmeric and mustard oil and apply on a spot on leg for testing purposes.

  • Good information, please keep us posted. Thank you!
  • Hi Rasool,

Even i have got this Babchi Seeds as someone told me it's helpful. My Vitiligo is increasing rapidly. You've written in the post that you take half a spoon after brkfast, but some lady told me to have 4-5 seeds at night before going to bed with water.

I am little confused how to take them now. Also do you know any good medicine which just stops the vitiligo of spreading.

    Thanks

    • Hi Mini delhi 18. To avoid constipation, suggest put half-spoon seeds in some water before you sleep and drink only the water in the morning. Since Babchi has psoralen, it is important to have sunlight after an hour or so. As I said, I catch sunlight on my hands and face while driving for office. Babchi is a replacement of UVB, especially in those South Asian areas where UVB facility is not available.

To manage your vit, try different options and find a solution that suits you. Never give up! Be a fighter! Please read my story on my profile for inspiration. God bless.

      • Thanks a ton Rasool. So i should have only water and not the seeds directly?

yes i am trying different options now and someone told me about Babchi seeds. Even there is a Babchi oil, do you think even that is also helpful?

        Do let me know.

        Thanks

        • Yes, water only. I haven't tried Babchi oil but I know that Babchi seeds work.

  •  where do you get neem tree leaves powder from? and the babchi seed?

    • Hi Ragini. If you have a neem tree nearby, you can save a bunch of leaves in your refrigerator. Otherwise, you can get the neem tree powder and babchi seeds from a herbal store, or wherever herbal medicines are available in your city.

Since raw babchi seeds might affect digestive system, suggest put them in the water at night, and drink the water only after the breakfast in the morning. Please note that babchi will not affect without exposure to sunlight. Avoid mid-day sunlight.

      • Thanks Rasool, I am in Chicago... hmmmm hard to find neem tree and Sun in winter so...I hv to search where can I get them from?
        • In that case, you can use UVB and ask a relative or friend in India to dispatch you the neem tree powder.

By the way, Babchi is a replacement of UVB, especially in those South Asian areas where UVB facility is not available.

  • Rasool!  Thanks for sharing.  Im using Neem tree leaves powder which my mother made into small round tablets coated with sugar (for easy swallowing).  I tried to take the Neem powder with water but it was unbearable.

I also contacted a homeopathic doctor in Karachi for vitiligo.

Im curious to know what does your doctor Dr. Inam say about your vitiligo?
