  • After researching online, i have started n b12 and folic acid and even ginkgo biloba. I had been applying psoralen oil (tolenorm) and there were new spots. but when the rainy season started, there was no sun to expose my patches to, my new ones disappeared and more areas were being erased, to my utter disappointment! i reasoned that i should be curing from inside as well, to stop the progression while the oil hopefully takes care of repigmentation. i'm going on my second month religously on these vitamins and oil and 5-10 minute sun. there are new brown spots everywhere, yes, teeny tiny ones. i'm waiting for my 2nd and third month. treatment should only be evaluated after at least three months. but i have hopes on these.read about ginkgo biloba and the b complex online. vitamins are okay, anyway. check out my pictures at vitiligouslytrue.blogspot.com if you have time. But one thing's so true about treating vit: you have got to have loads and loads of patience! let me know how you're doing!
    • I also have a problem with sun exposure as where I live in Cornwall we don't seem to get very much sun. It makes me feel so much better taking something that I think will work. Please keep us informed how you're getting on. I will try to take some pics of re pigmentation. Good luck.
      • That's a good idea. i don't know what the climate there is, but even on a cloudy day, even when the sun is not blaring but covered with clouds, the sun rays still work, according to books and i've also tried that. if not, there are uv lamps for sale. that's your best hope. regarding vitamins, online research support repigmentation with vitamins after at least two months. i've yet to find out. im on my first month at the moment. i'll keep you posted. but when i started, it was a rainy week, and yet my skin was pinkish. it was odd that without the sun, my skin was healing. another online link combined gingko biloba, an herb vitamin, and b12 and folic acid, and i'm on those right now. goodluck to us!
