Hi All,
I have had my Vitiligo since I was born.It started out as a dark brown birthmark, which faded after time. Leaving a white mark on my leg.It reminds me of the shape of an iron. It's about an inch long and the same in width.
When I was growing up it so used to upset me, when people would say what's that.
To this day I still try to hide it, which I know is daft.
When I was about two, my mum took me to the doctor's to see what hwe said about it. He was quite rude to my mum. He saidto her do you want her scarred, even more so that was the end of that.
To this day I don't why I still don't like to do anything where you can see it. It must go back to the days when children would keep asking me about it. I did'nt know what it was and not many others did I don't suppose
