Melanocyte transplant YES it works

I am glad to start this topic again because Mark one of the succesful person with this treatment has joined this group..I hope he share his photo of the prosess and his expriance.

You will be surprised watching his photo...he look like photo model now, I am happy for him and his good result gave me truelly big hope.

Is there any one who has a bad or good exprience about any cell treatment please share with us...I have tried almost all the remedies, the last choice I have and I am going to try is cell treatment ,the question is which one?

1.Melanocyte transplant( it is on practice in Sweden,India,London, US only in H.Ford Hospital)

2.Eurograft (cell transplant from hair folics in swetzerland)

3.Stem cell treatment( in Iran and India )

4.Recell ( Australia,it is on the way in europe mostly used for scares)

After many years reaserch .the only treatment I have seen which works 100% for some people is Cell treatment.

I hope dr Vivek share some of your advice too...stem cell and MKTP is it simmilar procidure.which one has best result?

  • Maybe one day I can explain "the real reasons" why so called transplant works for some degree and duration. It is not a permanant solution for thouse having active vitiligo.

    • Hey Karina--I done it last year in June ..I have still kept the repigmentes on some spots..some fade away I think most of which fade away  is the one I got from Deadsea treatment..I have combeind MKTP and Dead sea.

      • Thanks!

        • @XvitiX Can you please explain why it is not working for some ppl .

  • Sorry for late replay one of the reason Im late is ,I want to be sure if the repigment is permanent .

I have tried MKTP in India at Dr .Vivek`s clinic and got over 50-60% repigment ,I have combined it with Dead sea treatment coz the sun there is helpful to stimulate pigment cells and got  good repigment ..after Deadsea I tried EXcimer was almost 90% repig but some of the reigment fade away after 6 month . Now I m planning one more MKTP treatment haven`t decide yet if I do it in Switzerland by Eurograft (Cell from Hair follicles) it is less painful the traditional mktp they need to scrap some of your skin which will be the donor...I will let you know the result.

    • Hi Bamesgutt,

I have a question about the MKTP. When did you get this procedure done and for how long have retained the new pigment?

      Thanks

      Karina.

  • yes melanocyte transplant is the same as melanocyte keratinocyte cell transplant surgery

we have been doing this for 13 years now,

even mark had visited us ,unfortunately due to lack of time we could not proceed with his surgery

    regards

    dr vivek

    • Hi Dr.Vivek,

I think immediately after melanocyte keratinocyte transplant surgery skin color won't appear. It takes about 3-4 months time rght?  and we need to give UVB exposure to that area so that i repigments.

Please correct me if i am wrong.
