Meditation & Mindfulness helps me a lot!

In earlier times, getting socialize and meeting old friends like the school mates was a night mare for me because I got vitiligo a few back only. So, vitiligo patches were not on my skin during my school or even early college days. So, many times, my old friends would be surprised to observe my vitiligo patches. Many times, their innocent or obvious questions and comments used to hurt me a lot. 

Meditation or Mindfulness helps us to be in the present moment. It helps us not to worry too much about past experiences or future anticipations. You know- the real situation used to be far less traumatic than its anticipation. So, meditation is helping me to be in the present moment and be more sportive and relaxed about my vitiligo patches. 

Personally, I have done a 5-day basic art of living course at Delhi. 

To heal these mental wounds, meditation is quite good. If you are from India- you can try Vipassana or Art of Living or Brahma Kumaris or ISHA yoga therapies. All these beautiful spiritual associations can help us.

  • Hello, traditional Chinese medicine such as herbal has a good effect for vitiligo. My vitiligo is cured by Chinese herbal.

      Your posts are really very interesting.  I have read all of them.   Sometimes I think they have a lot to do with functional treatment.

      Regarding the herbal medicine, what clinic (in China or elsewhere) would you suggest that provides this treatment?

    The right kind of solution to treat vitiligo is spirituality and meditation. It is a physiological problem not a health issue. 

    I started including all this in my life from past 6 months ago and i now i feel good.
