MakeUp!

I'm currently using Kat Von D's Lock It Longwear Foundation and I find it to be quite "cakey." What type of makeup do you use? What would work best on dry oily skin?? Anyone open to do a tutorial?

  • I've been using dermablend for about 8 years now because it works really well but I do find it to be quite "cakey" too, so I would love to know about some other type of makeup or some other way to get coverage that does not feel as heavy.

  • Thanks for the feedback. Definitely going to try sunless tanners and tinted moisturizer.. :)

  • I use a fake tan on my vitiligo, it works treat on my face:)

  • I put tinted moisturizer & than cover the white spots with foundation, dont cake your face to much.

  • Hi,
I don't know if you've heard of Janine Summers? She is a young Ameriacn lady and a member on this site. She does really informative makeup videos on youtube (http://m.youtube.com/#/playlist?list=PLE7F4033DC8E2A22F&desktop...). I use Dermablend as a base and then top up with regular makeup to make the look more even, myself. Its hard with oily skin. Your skin must be clear of oils before you apply camouflage makeup otherwise it doesn't work properly-so a good, strong cleanser is essential. Link up with Janine to share tips-she's really lovely.

    Ish x
